Born and raised in Northern California I learned how to sew from my grandma, my mother, and my babysitter. I fell in love with making swimwear after making a Barbarella inspired silver monokini for a friend in 2010. I haven't stopped making them since... ; )
I've been sewing since I was 5 and making and selling clothes since I was 14. I moved to Brooklyn to go to Pratt Institute for fashion design when I was 18. I now live and work in a loft in Red Hook, Brooklyn in a converted luggage factory. City life isn't always my cup of tea so I create clothes that allow me to day dream of California life and far off warm beachy places.
